today I will spend the entire day wondering what work there is to do, then realising at 5pm what it was, and it also coincidentally being due at 5pm

I think I am at theopposite end of the scale - I know exactly what I need to do, but I can't be bothered. When it gets to 5pm, I'll wish I had done the work... :D

I always find that 5pm deadlines come and go, and no-one's remotely bothered
