# In other news, I think my pond has a leak. The amound of water in it is rapidly dwindling and I'm worried about all my frogs and tadpoles.
I'm off to B&Q to buy a very expensive 50m hosepipe.
Not that they'll thank me for it, the ungrateful amphibian bastards.

# Tap water'll kill em.

# But so will no water!
Dilemma.

I do have a big empty plastic dustbin. I could fill it with water, let it sit for a couple of days and then pour it in

# Go to an aquarium and get a couple of things of tapsafe.
That'll probably cost less than a hose, and you can just fill the bin up several times and dump it in.

# Mu, what are you doing up now? You should be hungover as fuck!

# I don't do hangovers. I mentioned that last night.
A gut uncomfortably full of meat and water before you go to sleep and you(I) get up fine. I woke up at 9ish with dry mouth and needing a big poo.

# Can you pull up the liner at one side?
If so you might be able to find the hole and retain some water in the other side while fixing it.

# In hot sunny weather my pond loses @ 2" per week
If you do use tap water, fill it slowley over several days, as the sudden temperature difference can kill the tadpoles
