What isn't made clear in EDF's blurb is that whether you agree with nuclear power or not, sister company EDF Trading is still one of the world's largest exporters of coal, the most pollutant fossil fuel used in power stations. EDF have a hell of a lot to answer for...

which is rather a lot in today's day and age, especially for a "green" company. 66% nuclear too, which ought to be a bit higher really. It remains to be seen, but they are apparently developing renewables, so they may not be too bad in the long run, assuming of course, they mean what they say
