# haha great
but, don't the vast majority of businesses put profit ahead of environment, just to varying degrees?

I think I'm confused... so in the last frame, because the towel isn't green, does that mean she's not bullshitting, or is bullshitting? I'm so confused today. So confused.

# They don't tend to then
base an ambiguous campaign on how environmentally friendly they are, though.

# It's the fashion
a lot of businesses are doing it despite it being a miniscule percentage of their expenditure. It makes people feel like little heroes, saving the earth by using a life-long shopping bag or whatnot.

# I have seen an
"environmentally friendly web agency" advertised. They say they are environmentally friendly because they won't travel to meet the clients, which is a great excuse.

# I do think some companies are actually serious about the whole thing, as they see it as a way of protecting their future interests.
Others, like EDF, just use it as a cover up for their more nefarious activities.

What isn't made clear in EDF's blurb is that whether you agree with nuclear power or not, sister company EDF Trading is still one of the world's largest exporters of coal, the most pollutant fossil fuel used in power stations. EDF have a hell of a lot to answer for...

# EDF Energy production is also around 28% for coal
which is rather a lot in today's day and age, especially for a "green" company. 66% nuclear too, which ought to be a bit higher really. It remains to be seen, but they are apparently developing renewables, so they may not be too bad in the long run, assuming of course, they mean what they say

# argh!
I've buggered up the last frame, haven't I?
