Right, so it went back in time to go forward in to a time before it had been invented? Or something like that.

Mind you, it's lucky they didn't have computers on steam engines - when the fireman is wielding a bloody big shovel I doubt he'd put up with being told 'I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that...'

I wonder how well big, black obelisks burn...
