living in norway as i doi can confirm that you'd have seen nowt, it was cloudy as anything around here. or it was when i was wandering around a bit earlier in the evening, anyway. i must confess that by the early hours of the morning i'd forgotten all about it :(
i've still never seen the northern lights. i'm going to go on up to tromso and find them around there. much more likely than here in the south.
