Oatcakes (the pancake sort, not the biscuit sort in packs) are very popular here and in Staffordshire. As is 'pudding' which is basically white pudding made with suet, entrails and oats. Can't tell you wot it tastes like, as I'm veggie.

Note that in Aberdeenshire white pudding contains onions and is generally meat-free. They are also big fans of rowies (aka butteries) which are flat, salty, croissant type things you put in the toaster. They can set the toaster on fire if done too long, due to all the butter or hydrogenated veg oil in them. They are absolutely stunning.
