Bacon Oatcakes......are simply awesome in every way. My folks were brought up around Stoke on Trent and I can remember going up to Stoke on a morning to pick 'em up fresh.
Rather wonderfully, our local Sainsburys has 'em in from time to time and they freeze lovely. I think bacon oatcakes for all on Saturday :-)

IndeedFamily visits to my grandparents are fondly remembered for oatcakes bought from a terrace house window. Best with bacon, tinned tomatoes and melted cheese all rolled into a tube of sloppy, cheesy, bacony goodness. Really want one now.
