basically they take the piss out of bad movies by riffing over themthat's one of the best IMHO, I've watched just about all of them and the stuff they say is often hilarious
after MST3K ended, Mike & one of the other guys started up Rifftrax, selling mp3s of their riffs over famous films they would never have been able to afford the rights to showing on tv - you play the mp3 whilst playing the film, but if you know where to search you can download the films with the riffing already overlaid onto the audio
I might just have to check out their riffing over Tron & The Wrath of Khan...
