# this moggy baiting
is becoming more than a bit uncomfortable now

Insta-comfort.

# ^top reply!
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:13, archived)
# she doesn't troll individual members
I don't see the point of laying into her so hard to be honest
there's no real mailce in anything she does. misguided attention seeking perhaps, but everyone here is guilty of that one time or another

feels a bit too much like everyone's scoring points by hitting the slow kid now

how is this not internet group bullying now?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:13, archived)
# We told her about posting dA page shots here.
She's not dumb. She posted it here on purpose to get this kind of response.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:21, archived)
# so the way to stop that
would be to not reply to the attention seeking posts, rather than baiting her

if no one replied she would have got bored and left weeks ago..or learnt to start contributing more constructive pics ..it's happened many times before in the past when new members learn to adjust.

someone messaged me about another member here who was posting constant pics about how depressed they were for attention.
I see no difference in them to what she posts
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:31, archived)
# Some things warrant a reply. It's our duty as b3tans to right the wrongs, and when that doesn't work, a nice hard ruler across the knuckles.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:40, archived)
# Clay doesn't like that
he put me on ignore because I questioned why he posted oversized images once.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:52, archived)
# O_O...srsly?... XD
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:56, archived)
# and i took you off
ignore to reply to Boris

yep told me about file sizes, once or 20 odd times, as with a few other poseters who are getting more than a little pissed withh you too.
www.b3ta.com/board/10683232

and had you not continued with it I would have left it at that depressive little attention seeking irritant that you are, back from whence you came with you :)
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:58, archived)
# Oh dear
Upsets again.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:00, archived)
# I;d been maintaing a dignified silence about it
for months despite his trolling, I think I'm allowed a day off, and going by my inbox I'm not the only one who feels like this. But so far I am the one who doesn't care about talking about it openly
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:03, archived)
# Yeh, good on you for not talking about it openly
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:06, archived)
# yep best not upset
him eh, fragile delicate ego and all that, and it would have remained in archive rather than linking it now had the little twit let it lie. I guess he shouldn't dish it if he can't take it.

he has only himself to blame

bit harsh? tough
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:10, archived)
# Harsh? Probably
Overreaction? Most likely
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:18, archived)
# yep nice one ellis
I've quitely let teh trolling ride for weeks. then I mention it in reponse to a prompt by you asking me if I have him on ignore. Huge over reaction on my part I guess. Your logic sounds water tight.

have you ever considered a career in the conservative party?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:22, archived)
# cheers, I've replied
still think its a missunderstanding as I honestly have never deliberately tried to upset you
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:22, archived)
# Do Not Feed the Troll
- works well if it wasn't for the fact she gets a banquet on b3ta and not from people who bait her but the opposite from people heaping fake praise on her in the hope of encouraging her to settle in.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:45, archived)
# ^this^
The haters are as tedious as car drivers who justify their hogging of the middle motorway lane by saying that anyone overtaking them are breaking the law
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:20, archived)
# Never to this extent
and anybody seeking this amount of attention has usually been shot down in flames long before now. She is remarkably protected for someone who regularly flouts the etiquette of this place. Not that she breaks FAQ but she does get annoying with the constant attention seeking which is often overly encouraged to the point now she thinks she's an established member around here. If Baz and Dutchbird were still on /board she would have got far worse than a little leg pulling regarding her real name.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:21, archived)
# I'm laughing my tits off here. Tit-free I am.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:25, archived)
# internets srsbizns
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:27, archived)
# Nobody knows who he/she is so how can you deduce that she's the "slow kid"?
she's quick enough with the quick fire English when it suits her.

The extent of this 'Dave' business only highlights that there more than enough people who are not fooled by the little girl who likes to paint pretty sex scene defence.

That's not to even mention that Sundaelunch got ripped to shreds for daring to questioning her - so is it fair that Moggy get's away with it and yet Sundaelunch who has been a regular contributor and never an attention seeker get's mauled by the trolls?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:29, archived)
# "Sundaelunch who has been a regular contributor and never an attention seeker"
Wait...............I'm still laughing about this. XDXDXD
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:07, archived)
# :P
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:23, archived)
# He loves the attention. All the replies by other /board members are being generated by him repeating himself over and over again.
If he was that upset, he'd step away from the keyboard, quietly.
As it is, he's actively feeding the fire, and getting a week's worth of validation to boot.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:29, archived)
# This would be my assessment too
If Moggy was a real Japanese girl in her 20s she would be mortified with shame. I simply do not believe she is who she says she is.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:39, archived)
# I have no reason to disbelieve she is anything other than a needy 20-something Japanese girl who draws generic manga
I'm just amused at the Dave thing.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:45, archived)
# I've yet to be convinced.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:47, archived)
# It makes me think of all the small wars that must have happened in prehistory when different cultures expanded and clashed
all hitting the interloper with stone maces and such.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:15, archived)
# I think you're missing that its just a bit of fun and silliness
no one is swearing at her or telling her to leave. Just calling her Dave because she hides behind numerous made up names.

I'm most impressed by the number of replies/amount of joining in she is doing. Proper B3tard
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:24, archived)
# I have to confess
I swore at her the other day when she posted a sadistical picture of a woman with a whip and a bleeding child asking for more. Perhaps I'm over sensitive?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:28, archived)
# And I called him/her an attention seeking creep up there...
Probably a little less justified than your response to... whatever the fuck that picture was.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:31, archived)
# you're entitled to your opinion
if you found something over the line or too weird.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:32, archived)
# Yes because clearly you have no experience of Japanese culture
The child was not bleeding because it was being beaten, it was bleeding because it was sexually aroused.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:32, archived)
# The child was wearing a top hat and looked a bit like a munchkin
possibly some cultural reference point got lost. If it was something similar to a munchkin, oompa-loompa or leprechaun, that puts a different slant on the interpretation.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:34, archived)
# I found her picture crossed the line too
but I said nothing, for that I feel ashamed that I didn't come to your defence Sundae. But I've had a belly full of mauling for speaking out against this Moggy so I let things die down and see if she settled in but it's clear if she/he isn't getting her dose of daily attention she will post something that will cause a shitstorm - therefore I don't care what anybody else says I call shenanigans on Moggy!
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:43, archived)
# Don't feel ashamed.
I said my piece and some people did not agree. I am comfortable with my opinion that I do not like to see pictures of bleeding children, whether through a beating or as suggested, sexual arousal. I'll sleep ok.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 17:50, archived)
# It seems it was a character from a video game:
banjokazooie.wikia.com/wiki/Jolly_Dodger
Moggy has posted versions of this frog-thing before. Granted, this time it had toddler proportions, but who knows what message was being conveyed there. Inferiority to the drill sergeant banjokazooie.wikia.com/wiki/Jamjars I should think, who for some reason was made female and given lovely hair.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:03, archived)
# The little girl with the bleeding nose certainly wasn't a frog
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:07, archived)
# Wait, I totally get it now
The tiny bleeding-nosed character represents Jolly Jack (similar name), and the drill sergeant represents Moggy (Moguragunsou means Sergeant Mole, as we have already discovered). So the picture is all about Moggy's feelings toward JJ, which granted are stalker-like and this is too much information, but there you are, that's what the picture was about at least.

Possibly Moggy wants to put JJ in a dress and sexually dominate him, but who am I to stand in the way of romance?
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:10, archived)
# Always with the metaphors
tbh I can't work it out that simply, that's why I would like Moggy to explain her work better so that I got the correct perspective on what's she's trying to get across and not something that looks like cruelty towards children.

But hey I'm a simple soul if an Emperor had a parade and he was in the nude I'd probably call it like it is - but that's just me.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:19, archived)
# See also:
the blind men and the elephant. This is the thing about parables and proverbs - there's always a contradictory one. ("Look before you leap" vs. "seize the day", etc.)
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:24, archived)
# but just because you can come up with a counter parable
doesn't make you right and me wrong.

We all have opinions and I'm no fascist censorship freak either!
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:30, archived)
# I shouldn't have said "censorious"
Group disapproval is what's actually going on here, with no power to ban Moggy or anything, only to attempt ostracism*, which won't work since this is b3ta and you can't herd cats. It's faintly frightening, but I'm too easily frightened.

*Historically this meant banning somebody from Athens for ten years, but in the modern sense it just means saying they smell.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:39, archived)
# All I want from her is some honesty
she knows what's going on, so much of what she says is pretence. I get no sense of who she is or what she's about yet I get a get a good sense of what most other b3tans are and what they are about. Call it my spider-senses tingling but she doesn't come across as being for real.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 18:45, archived)
# Why does it matter that you know what she's about?
If there was serios problems about what she draws then Deviant Art (which probably has 100's times more views than B3ta) would have banned her ages ago
Personally I think she is Pasanonic having a laugh winding B3ta up
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 19:06, archived)
# DA did ban her.
She came here to complain about it.
(, Tue 7 Feb 2012, 19:36, archived)
# Devisive, censorious.
What are you trying to achieve?
