I've been thinking about the Who lately ... I mean, had a few of their Lps back in the 80s and liked them, but never really *dug* the band ... actually thought the drumming was a bit crappy but later on realised it's often the production value that's at fault on most of the early stuff. But then, dunno, something sort of clicked, and I started to get the lyrics ... think it was the sea/wave/tide sounds of Brighton Beach and thinking about the album when waling along the beaches up here by Scarborough. And Townshend can write a good lyric. Big nose, though.
