# Yeah, yeah, alright :)
It just surprised me that so many b3tans seem to have left or went into lurking mode. Oh well.

# People grow up, change jobs that don't allow b3ta, run out of hummus,
plus Reddit, Facebook and Twitter took off and took away a lot of commentators - without which the picture posters give up. All sorts of reasons really.
But it's still lumbering along and you never know, the new wave of b3ta people might be just around the corner :)

# Victim of it's own success, up to a point.
I painted a new pic this weekend but didn't post it; it simply isn't good enough for the standards on here now.

# Post it anyway.
If people are nervous about posting something because it may not go down well, then that is a problem.

The popular board flags up the best stuff, so /board should be a place for people to work out what works via trial-and-error. Even bad work is likely to have the benefit of making someone else think "I could do better" and worry less about posting their own work.

And bad work can often cause a fun thread or even a meme in the case of Horse Is An Alien.

# An extended popular page would be good
You can miss all sorts of ace stuff being away just for a couple of days and would show a wider selection to tempt new visitors

# I always liked your work, and I think most people here feel the same
So please post it.

# Part of the problem is getting it all under 50k
I draw large, and optimising really fecks it up more than it was. But I'll have a try and will post it.

# the suggested size limit went up to 100k about 5 years ago
also, now it's quiet that doesn't matter so much

# 50k? hahaha, check the front page.
The faq is for n00bs, you do what the fuck you want. Seriously, regulars post 5 meg gifs and nobody bats an eyelid.
