This is a great image challenge.
It's pretty accessible to those of us with lesser photoshop skills, yet it allows the more 1337 members of the community to shine as well.
Could we put in a request to the Powers That Be that this be one of those compos that they keep running for a bit?

8 pages of entries
and the current winning image a black rectangle, I have to agree with you
(thats not to diss the winning entry, its a I-wish-I-had-done-that idea)

you don't have to have a compo to do a picture
nothing stopping people doing minimalist posters or anything else for that matter once the week is up.

Photoshop skills?
Is this a comedy website? Did the compo make me laugh? Well, it's laughably bad. A good compo in what way(please don't answer)?
I hope the hilarious black rectangle wins. It's all about context, right?

Its the level of activity which makes it good
There are often corkers in every image compo, but being able to come back to the board after an hour and find and entirely new page (in these austere times), is ace.
