I've had a lot of fun with it, exploring, building bases, farming (weirdly entertaining) and getting the PSN trophies, but beyond that (reaching the centre of the universe) I wouldn't bother.
It's at times hilarious how broken it is. One of the biggest milestones is rewarded with just a paragraph of descriptive text :D

I mean stuff like you plotting a 2000 lightyear course through hyperspace and coming out the other side having only travelled 500 because they forgot to tidy up the code when they made the galaxy 4 times bigger.
