how quick and easy or otherwise would it be to code monkeya top trumps style online game that referenced hansards or theyworkforyou for points between two players chosen mps? (does that make sense?) fun for all the family.

A Top Trumps engne would be easy,getting the data less so (the amount of votes they are all absent for doesn't help).
The theyworkforyou API is really expensive, which is a shame, as it could be used for all sorts of fun things.

The API's just the way to get at the data, not the data itself.You could scrape it, but I remember the pagination made that too much of an arse when I wanted to do something with it, and it stops the data being live.
Likewise, manually enter data - but that's slow and boring too.
