I think it might be my fault.

When I was watching the film we'd all had a bit of a skinful and when that part of the film happened I might have shouted out the line from Guardians 2. It wasn't packed and it did get a laugh so I'm not too cut up over it.

I referred to that scene as the Mary Poppins bit on /links just so as not to spoil it for anyone else.

If you still don't get it, Leia struck the same pose as the blue guy did when he was doing his Mary Poppins bit.

I love that that's the thing people got hung up on

and not the Rebels simply flying away in a straight line for half the film because the Empire couldn't overtake or call for backup to head them off for some unknown reason.

Presumably for the same reason the original death star couldn't hyperspace around Yavin in A New Hope.
