As it's a repost, is it a less serious offence to threadjack?
TJ: Why has my IE been all sluggish this morning, taking up about 60% of the CPU resources according to task manager, and not displaying bits of pages, until I scroll around, or leaving traces of pages when I scroll?
(And don't tell me to get Opera)

could be a massive temporary internet cache (tools->internet options-> delete files)

what other stuff you got running in the background? Could be low on video memory?

I think your best bet probably is to pick it up and shake as the above post suggests.

Space freed up if I dlete temporary internet files: 230 Mb
