His peers, and my friend rates him higher than Dave Ghrol and he loves Nirvana, so thats a high enough accolade I think.

a fan of dave grohl... what he mostly seems to have on his records is a clarity of tone that not many rock drummers achieve (songs for the deaf being the ultimate case in point) and i think a lot of that falls to the awwwwwwsome producers he';s worked with

You'll find that the Queens of The Stone Age "Songs For The Deaf" (being the best rock album in many years) shows he is a super drummer now in his own right.
