# So that's where babies come from
and I did it the hard way
:)
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 19:57, archived)
# I did it
the easier but much more painful way
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:00, archived)
# did they
cut your belly open?
*ouch*
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:01, archived)
# yup
I was unconsicous at the time, but screaming in pain when I came round after even though I'd had all the morphine they could give me. not fun.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:02, archived)
# did you
have strange dreams while on morphine
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:07, archived)
# nope

# You know
you two could singlenhandedly RUIN something that most of us men find very, very pleasing that a woman does...

I wish you to stop now please.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:08, archived)
# you are
pleased about labour and birth?

(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:12, archived)
# yeah
but you didn't give birth to them did ya?
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:12, archived)
# Oh no...
but I AM raising them... much like a seahorse.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:16, archived)
# except
the seahorse actually does the birthing thing as well :)
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:19, archived)
# not the MALE seahorse...
oh wait.. he does...

I would also like to point out that mine are 6 and 4, and that for the last 3 1/2 years I have done it alone.. so neneer neener neener. Don't rub your "I can have kids" thing in my face. Raising them is 100x more difficult*.

SO neener neener neener... :P

# I know you're just griping

# Thank you Nurse...

(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:22, archived)
# I was born too quickly
they had just given her a shot of pethadine, which shouldn't be giving within 2 hours of the birth because it can cause breathing difficulties, because they thought she would be a long time yet, and suddenly I was born, bright blue and not breathing. I was taken to an incubator while they started stitching my mum up.

# I'm leaving this thread now
never wanting to have children.

Teenagers should be made to hear stories like that - good contraception!
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 20:24, archived)
# also
girls should be made aware that the younger you are, the more likely you are to get stretch marks - I didn't get any when I was pregnant
