# wha?

# no offence
but im getting sick of rugby pics. why cant we just exercise "standard" british behaviour,a nd be smugly quiet about our obvious superiority?
(, Tue 25 Nov 2003, 14:30, archived)
# bugger it
ive missed 2 of my milestones now, ive gotta push forward, and make sure i dont miss my 4500 target...

before we realised we were good (or lucky) at it...

# I've noticed how suddenly...
...every English person has always loved Rugby Union.

Also, suddenly, every Scottish person thinks it's a rubbish sport.

# Odd that...
I'm still a NZAB fan. They are consistently a good team (even though they lost the RWC). England have only really just got good (lucky?).
(, Tue 25 Nov 2003, 14:36, archived)
# something up with them grapes?
;)

# NZAB? RWC? UK?
Wha...What language is this? What year is this? Who's the president?

New Zealand All Blacks
Rugby World Cup
Underdog Kingdom...or is that United?
(, Tue 25 Nov 2003, 14:41, archived)
# *ahem*
It was England that won, not the UK. I don't want to be associated with it as I am Scottish and therefore I think Rugby Union is a rubbish game.

Ever since the weekend.

# I said England...
...and not UK...honest....

# Ha ha ha...
...niec edit ;)

In light of recent sporting results, I have decided that it is not a good time to be Scottish (sports wise anyway).

Thank god I can rely on Scottish First Division football to keep me happy.

# ha! good point

personally, while i dont love the sport, i prefer it over football. rugby plyers take a battering for the entire game, and brush it off, but if a footballer gets tackled 'badly' (i.e. he gets nudged by an opponent), he rolls around crying like a big girls blouse...

# You stole my thoughts.

I demand you give them back

Or at least dont take any more;)

# not as bad as
american football, which is mostly played with the hands, the players are too stupid to play both offence and defence, and if you're gonna play a contactsport don't play it in a fucking kevlar body-tank. wimps.
(, Tue 25 Nov 2003, 15:08, archived)
# When I bought SSX3 the other day the bloke behind the counter tried to
give me an England flag, even though I'd been chatting to him in my broad Scots accent for about five minutes. What the hell would a Scottish bloke who had just refused EA Sports Rugby for a tenner because "I hate rugby" want with an England flag?
(, Tue 25 Nov 2003, 14:38, archived)
# I always find it quite funny...
...when national chain stores, like WH Smiths, have England books and videos in their charts.

Despite being the third most populat DVD in the country, there always seems to be plenty copies left on the shelf in Scottish stores ;)

# take wilkinson out
and England would never have won. He's terrifyingly clinical. A boon to the team, but I wonder how the team woul ddo without him. they'd still rate tho, just step up their game once they got a shot at it I suppose.
(, Tue 25 Nov 2003, 14:40, archived)
# "terrifyingly clinical"?
that's definitely a first for rugby descriptions.
