it was Children's Film Foundation (or possibly Disney) film in the 70s, about a Giant Sheepdog called Digby.
I saw it at Film Club at school. The week after one of those Harry Harryhausen Jason & the Argonaut efforts probably.

Maybe blur the leash and get rid of the glow around the paws and it'd be absolutely impossible to tell apart from a photo (well, apart from the thirty foot tall dog).
