i wasn't aware that
you needed your passport to go to Iraq on active service...every day is a school day
My dad went to the falklands, I have no idea if he needed his passport
edit: you don't need a passport because you get shipped there

acording to the squaddie
as it is post-war you need a passport to enter the different country
that said - he had got on the wrong train twice and ended up in peterbrough early that day
edit: I don't think you need a passport to go to the falklands - I think we still own it to the extent that we can just wander over - might need ID

but my dad went to the falklands post war as well, he says you have a piece of paper saying you have orders to be there so you don't need your passport
you still need a passport to get the falklands i think it's a bit like canada and australia

this bloke seemed very upset thatr he wasnt going to get to shoot some arabs - lovely chap, england's finest (that said he tried to get to chester-le-street from newcastle and ended up in peterbrough, so I think the world may be safe)
