# Gary
Glitter fled to Cambodia, supposedly the world's child sex tourism capital, after he was released from prison, and the Cambodian authorities deported him because he was seen as bad for the country's image after a new Prime Minister decided to clean up Cambodia's image...

That took too much explaining. Ho hum.

# Oh
OK then. We didn't get the news that he went to cambodia over here.

BTW, Blue Peter did an appeal in about 1985 all about the famine/war in Cambodia - I'm sure if someone can rustle up a picture, that'd be a great tattyshop!

# I'm not sure

# I told one of my friends that Gary Glitter has absconded to Florida with someone's children.
I did a Les Dawson style crash-clap-stamp combo and said "That's right. He's off to Tampa with the kids." He sent it to Zit and it got published .

I wonder how many other people's friends made money from that joke, the Manc fuck.
