Xoftspy is crapAnother reason is for the huge # of False positives it has. I gave up using the program because Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D have since become significantly better.
It targets spywareblaster registry entries and has yet to remove them, and there is no way to contact them about it.
It labels QTTask (that's QuickTime Task [the little Q icon in system tray]) as an adware agent of a different company (Labelled Claria I think, I can't remember). Any fumbduck company that would do that has to be either stealing someone else's definitions or has no knowledge of computers at all.
Use with caution, and fgs don't spend money on it.
