# ha haar me hearties!
not a piccy but could inspire some maybe

A naked man standing on a roof looking through a rolled-up magazine thought he was a pirate, New Zealand police said.

Senior Sergeant Steve Aitken, of Dunedin police, said the man appeared to be affected by the hallucinogenic drug datura and his bizarre behaviour continued once at the police station.

'He believed he was a pirate at sea and was using a rolled-up magazine as a telescope,' he said.

The 28-year-old man was charged with disorderly behaviour after being taken down from the roof of a South Dunedin building.

# It's all true...
Datura is one of the most powerful hallucinogens known to man. It also grows wild in this country and is easy to recognise because of it's long bell shaped flowers.

I've met a few people who have taken it before and all report similar stories about existing in this reality yet functioning in a completely different one for a good 12 hours.

Very Carlos Castaneda and probably best to steer clear..

# Datura causes :
"Stimulation and/or anxiety. Extreme nausea. Dilated pupils. Blurred or fixed-focus vision. Rapid heartbeat. Extreme disorientation. Loss of memory. Loss of time. Delirium. Profound sensitivity to light and noise. Seamless crossover into a variety of realistic dream states. Extreme uncoordination, loss of body control, and vertigo. Extreme audio, visual, and tactile hallucinations. Apparent astral travel to familiar places. Interaction with friends, relatives, and other random people who are not physically present. Extreme drying and irritation of the mouth, throat, eyes, urinary tract, and other mucous membranes. Potential for uncontrollably emotional or violent activity. Inability to recall anything--even that you are under the effects of a drug--for quite some time".

Sounds like my everyday life.
