Funniestthing I have ever seen in my life was when the Cranberries played a free gig at my old uni, I think late '92 or early '93. They were still a few months of being famous, and NOBODY GAVE A SHIT ABOUT THEM. About half an hour into the gig, people started pulling their tables out onto the dancefloor and were sitting chatting about two feet from Dolores. She was in tears by the time she left the stage.
