its a lot diff from the film, good though if you can get past having to remember who is who with all the unusual names
edit: although i dont know if it has my fave part init yet... when you think beat is dead on the couch, then out of the blue he answers his mobile, heh heh...

they dont do special effects as gory in film
as you can do in your own imagination :)

as long a japanese translations don't bother you it's worth a read
but I can't say I found it much different from the book
the ring trilogy is worth a read as well
