Hey! it's working nowsilly IE. I closed it and opened a new window, and voila.
Yes I know, I should be using FF but I'm coding and when I get it to work in FF, it invariably looks crap in IE.

Oh MAN!FF is the right one. IE is the broken (and is, in my opinion, so bad it's fucking up the interweb)
Code for FF. Fix problems in IE using hacks. That way, if they ever do fix IE, your code should continue to work properly.
I do like the IE box model better (it made more sense to me), but it's not a W3C standard, so it can get straight to fuck and should be forgotten, immediately. No browser should ever support it, because it's simply wrong.

You are in so many ways correct.My site so far works fine with both, it's only html and css. Need to get into the habit of not clicking the blue e.
