I was in Brussels with the girlfriend last week and enjoyed downing quite a few Hoegaarden... mmm belgian beers... I brought back some Kriek, Framboise and Chimay gonna go and have one now... lovely

i haven't tried this variety of which you speak, though i'd like to. and i've never found a definitive answer on the question of whether mead is just honey wine, or also honey beer, or something else entirely.
