# Well at
least the mayor was ANGRY, instead of making stupid grins and saying dumb stuff.

the mayor is an idiot too so are the redients who stayed through. they knew the levee wouldnt hold through a hurricane category above 3. not to say they deserve it, but they should have more sense.

# You can't possibly be
blaming the poor people staying behind. They were told to stay in the Superdome. That didn't work out. They have NO MEANS WHATSOEVER to get out on their own, not even before Katrina struck.

# quite right
"All of you with the means to get out and stay in a nice motel, go now. All the rest of you.... erm, dunno, GL"

# In my experience...
most Americans are mindless wastes of the earth's resources, so I don't let my time be wasted with thoughts of whether they are alright or not. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE WASTEFUL CUNTS COME TO US ASKING FOR MONEY.

# Thats a just a little bit
UNFAIR. You can't blame the people left behind for being American, sadly they were born that way. The people left in the city are too poor to be able to leave. You need money to survive in America! And they didn't have enough. There are still 130 Brits missing as well, so we should give money to make sure they get the aid they need. It's Bush and the other political twunts who are to blame!

# Nope
Not really unfair. I'm not blaming the people who were left stranded there, although I do fail to see why it is any business of ours (apart from the 130 Brits, which we could have had airlifted out in less than 24 hours if we had known they were there).

You do need money to survive in America, that's right. However 250 million of the people there have it coming out of their arses. So, If they want to spunk it on wars in Iraq and missions to the moon, then I think it is unreasonable to ask anyone to bail themselves out of this particular pickle. Especially when you bear in mind the policies that the government -- that the general public voted in -- couldn't give a toss about the environmental issues that brought it about in the first place.

Hang on... Not to mention the government having neglected the region for... wait for it... 120 years!! Mark Twain was writing about problems with the levees there.)

I will be throwing absolutely no good money after bad in this farce. They bled us dry after the second world war, so fuck 'em.
