it's only 1.4 meg up but i like to boast. I knew there was some benefit to working in an awful school in london. I've been physically threatened 3 times in my first term and i want to cry. Still have lessonprep for the morrow. So tired so obviously wasting time on b3ta will help me

had any problems with it? they got a bad review (was reading it on The Register last week I think) but I figure it`s a trial and you get it cheap, so worth any teething problems

or something at the exchange end. Bt that was fixed quite quickly. I think they're out of trial mode now, no problems any more, sadly the 24 meg line equates to 8.6meg due to distance from the exchange, but the 1.3 meg up more than compensates

that`ll do nicely
the half internet not accessible was probably their peering; they need to link up with other ISPs in the most efficient way

I'm used to a 512k link and have run out of things to download. At least with the 1.3 up i can pay back the internet for all those years of leeching

it`ll be handy for VPN-ing into work, although I think our internet link from there is shit slow, so maybe not
