GoshNeither did mine. It had three readings: "full", "almost full" and "empty". Once you'd passed "almost full" it read "empty" until you chickened out and put more petrol in or ran out of petrol.

I have a 2 year old motorcycleat the luxuary end of the market, and it doesn't have a petrol gague. 14 litres of fuel capacity too...
