I just kind of made them up as I went along. I actually quite like the result. They are going to be painted white, by the way.

nah, according to the laws of sod

they'll stay up right through the whole painting proccess, they'll be fine when you stack them too, but just as you sit down to admire your handiwork and congratulate yourself on a job well bodged, they'll come crashing down and possibly horribly injure you.
