# I
remember a friend of mine talking about buying a MD drive for his PC sometime last year, but I'm not sure if they were ever released.

There must be some fiddle to use the sony net MD players for file storage.

# you can
it's bloody tricky.. & quite slow and you can fit about 60-80 mb on a MD.

The hassle isn't worth it. the more the data is unlike music the more error correction you need and the less data will fit.

# O rite,
I thought someone said it was about 130mb.

Do you have a site/tutorial on how you can do the transfer anyway ?

Id still like to check it out, always willing to learn new ideas

# If I were you I'd just go out
and buy a solid state usb drive.. I did and i love it

though if you are planning to use it for storage I'd recomend you buy a cratefull.
