# we once went to Mersy Island
it was great

i got to sail a £450,000 sail boat because there

# Having a sailing ship
is the best thing in the world. Remebering that you have to paint the bugger, is not.

# not yours though?

# It depends on the term *yours*
I and others operate her on behalf of the trust and I've been refurbishing her for the last 5 years.

# oh right... i think i've seen this...

# yep
it's a charity formed to teach little orphan chav thieves sailing, social and life skills. It's quite successful ( as in most don't end up in jail afterwards )

# very nice...
*greens* AGAIN!
fuck you all! :(
Been trying to get some dinghy sailing done but there's not much around here... there's a place in Sunderland but they've only got toppers... and i'm a bit big for a topper :-/

# I'm fairly sure
you would squeeze in here.

The advantage of a topper is you never have to do this ;)

# Water is flamable.
You'd know that if you'd been a scout.
(, Fri 19 Jan 2007, 13:03, archived)
# Well if superheated it will split
into it's component atomic parts Hydrogen and Oxygen so therefore very flamable - just need to knit myself a small tactical nuclear missile for the conversion process *knit one, pearl one, heavy water two, knit one, nuclear trigger one, pearl one*
(, Fri 19 Jan 2007, 13:05, archived)
# save time by
not using a missile at all. Just get two graphite rods, a nine volt battery and a bucket of salt water, you will be happily breathing hydrogen in no time at all.
