I live in college accomodation
and while I've found a way past the content filter, theres no way past the word filter. It sucks...we keep nicking the wireless from the hotel next door though.

why do they feel it necessary to put word filters on internet for college students
are they afraid you'll discover naughty language or nipples?

apparently
erotic, tits, hardcore, porn, xxx are all banned in urls...theres probably some others, but as of now, I've missed out on two questions of the week, because of porn in the title, (though rob did change one)and if the random password thingy hotmail does comes up with xxx, then that gets blocked too
