I would have thought so.Many people consider much of my reading material quite highbrow and inaccessible yet even I love to have a spot of escapism with Pratchett now and again. It allows for you to be a schoolboy again without any of the embarrassment.

i agree on the stephen king bit.i liked the kubrick version of the shining infinitly better than the stephen king version, and if the movie is better than the book it means something right?
