There are swimming groups which have been set up exclusively for underpriveleged black families.

Try setting one up for underpriveleged white families only and see what happens. Not that I advocate either stance, I should confirm.

I totally appreciate that fact.
But I think that setting up groups which exclude white people makes things even worse, because it antagonises whites and also segregates them even further than they already are.
If you want to make whites and blacks live together, in peace, then let them carry out activities together. Fuck all point in separating them and making the whole situation two-sided again.

Just because they are 'for' a specific group doesn't mean entrance is banned to those of other colours/genders/cultures
It's just that they don't tend to join as they don't have first hand experience of similar issues.
