# have you checked emusic.com
they have plenty of (old and scratchy) records from the old forgotten greats

# oooh

# I'm on budget too
but there are a bunch of artists that I really like and I'm glad to support. Because emusic don't have drm but only mp3, the big majors don't work with them, and you get mostly independent/small producers and older stuff. The Smithsonian/Folkways collection is there, for example.
They are a bit annoying as they make you believe you have to register to see the catalogue, but it's not true: www.emusic.com/artist/10565/10565498.html (100% horse free)
