Sorry, I should explain.
Please do not post competition entries which are reposts in existing thread - stick them in an existing thread, there's no disadvantage, people can still click on the 'I like this' link when it's a compo entry, so please try not to knock other people's work off the board when yours has already had its chance.
There's an explanation in the FAQ as to why this isn't polite. I understand that it might not immediately be obvious, but please try not to do it again.
Thanks.
I'm glad to see the wings on the bee though.

I'm disgusted that he's pushing other people's work off the board.

That's really well shopped.
I liked that and was surprised so few people commented, particularly after the source was posted too.

That's amazing transparency
I wonder if it is as good on the darker posts?

OH NO SOMEONE DID SOMETHING ALREADY, THE INTERNET WILL DIE!

I want to see new pictures.
Every repost knocks a new image off the bottom of the board.
If you have an image which is suitable for a comp then by all means post it, but put it in a new thread, your image has already had its turn and it's only fair to give those who have made something new a fair crack of the whip.
If it is a competition entry then it has an 'I like this' button even if it is in an existing thread, so there's no excuse, it's just ignorant and rude.
In this instance the image is the mirror of many in the competition, which can be viewed here , but even if it was the best image ever, reposts belong in existing threads, not because it is 'in the rules' but because it is the height of rudeness to chuck someone else's new image off the board to post something which has already been posted.

Oh, I'm sorry,
with that argument I am shown the error of my ways.

Get a life.
why? because someone else on this board sees you for the over opinionated self rightous cock you really are?

Why do you believe your opinion matters?
Are you fatter, spottier and have less of a social life than the rest of us? Is that it, you braggerist?
Or is this some form of bullying to make you feel more adequate than you really are?

I'm not spotty!
I am fat and I have no social life, but it's just a matter of manners.
Someone worked hard shopping a picture, posted it and then a repost knocked it off the board.
The FAQ explain this well:
"I am really proud of my picture, is it OK if I post it again?
Please don't repost your picture as a new message. If everybody on the board decided to repost their old pictures then there would be no room left for any new stuff. If you didn't get the reaction you hoped for the first time, then don't be disheartened - it's just the nature of the board and something we have to live with.
If you really want to show people your hard work again, you could try these:
* Post your image as a relevant reply to another picture. "That's a great picture of a kitten skateboarding, here is a similar picture I made..."
* Use your B3ta profile as a showcase for your best work.
* Make an image gallery and link to it when you post new pictures. "If you like this, then look at my other work here..."
Just remember that there is limited space on the board and it's a bit rude to push somebody else's picture into the archive in order to post a picture that has already had it's chance."
Generally people conform, out of decency for other users, but when there is a compo it seems that this goes out the window, which is bizarre, because you get the 'I like this' button in that instance too.
Just be excellent to one another and don't be greedy.

No, politely point out how what he is doing might offend others
but where he might not have realised the implications to other users of his actions.
This generally ends with an understanding and future reposts in existing threads.
Of course we always get the odd self righteous idiot.
You'll be posting pictures of yourself next.

This is fun.
Given that the board does not allow identical posts within a limited timeframe, you must be working quite hard at this, whilst I lay in bed with the baby trying to eat my dressing gown.
