# well...
I knew the anim would be long, so... I made a pattern using one of the tiles from the original pic, then blocked it in... so the background is the same layer all the way through (which keeps filesize doon a bit).

then I just kept making it a bit smaller until I got it under 200k. (128 colours, 15 lossy)

yadda yadda yadda

# Apropos of nothing at all
You started posting at pretty much the same time as me, it's nice to see another noob of similar vintage still around and posting stuff.

# I shouldnt be.
I should be doing work.

But I like it here sometimes although it's gotten slightly weird of late.

*high-five for similar vintage noobiness*

I actually meant onephilosophy, I think you were posting while I was lurking. I hadn't spotted that you're almost the same age as me in b3ta terms. We're older than HappyToast!

# I didn't post anything for about six month after my first post
got lots of abuse for my first post, cried about it for 6 months, lurked a bit, and then slotted into doing my best to win approval.

# That's the ticket.
Put those negative feelings in a bottle, and if you think that they might spill out of the top then you need to really ram that cork in there and push it down until you start sweating blood. Works for me, anyway.

# I hope you have the patent pending . . .
because this invention could sure come in handy ! I hear a clicking sound too . . .

# that might just be a bit of limescale buildup
I recommend Cillit Bang.

...and I reckon tagging my pic is as good a patent-pending. If it works against thieving magazines, it'll work against rogue inventors.
