I'm part of the tapir protection society.
We did a lot of field work, tagging and recording various tapirs. Unfortunately the statistics were often inaccurate due to our team using different techniques to catalogue all the tapirs in an area.
Luckily my invention of the tapir measure helped us to finally make accurate measurements.
