there is just zero variety in pylons because you came up against the fact nearly every image is gonna feature a pylon and really you can't do an awful lot with them as there a shit to shop.

I'm tired of explaining this and I wasn't going to bring it up again, but:

Jokes, funny pictures/animations, witty comments? Great. Bring them on, no matter what the subject matter.

Expecting everyone to find a picture of a person with Down's Syndrome hilarious? Fuck off. There are lots of people who devote their whole lives to caring for people who are severely disabled. They have a thankless task even without having to deal with idiotic comments, and even physical attacks, from imbeciles on the street.

"Mong" is a hateful word. Saying "Paki" or "nigger" on here is considered unacceptable, why is this different?

everything is either fair game or nothing at all. and more to the point alot of the more unpc pictures just highlight other peoples insecurities over the whole thing, because we live in a nation that for a fuck of along time was racist and homophic and everything and still is, if you can't laugh about these things and be secure in the fact that you know that you're not gonna go off into the real world and be a racist biggot or anything then really thats your own problem you need to address. christ theres even a bloody golly wog mini icon on here.

i'm not gonna preach because i've sat here and laughed at beadle pictures, the guy was differently abled to some extent and he's dead and we think thats fucking funny..so where do you draw the line ?

I apologise, I wasn't meaning to have a go at you.
I got gradually more pissed off with things until I snapped, and that just fanned the flames a bit.

As far as I'm concerned: on b3ta, jokes can be made about anything. Even if I don't like it, that's how this place works, and I love it because of that.

What I'm complaining about is the casual nastiness. Posting an image of a disabled person as shorthand for "idiot", for example. When someone like c_kick makes animations based on the Downs syndrome kids, I laugh as much as everyone else. Jokes forgive pretty much anything, it's the posts that aren't redeemed by any sort of humour that I find offensive.

There are plenty of other people who feel the same as me, some of them are more vocal about it than others. I've said my piece, and I don't intend to keep going on about it.

Please remind me of this the next time you see me going on about it...

i've just given up trying to be pc on here. the problem is noone can ever win in such an arguement and obviously the bottom line is in line you don't behave in such a terrible way, but then this is the internet and so forth.

i do agree people can be a bit sloppy with there jokes on such things, if someone is gonna do something really unpc and out of order you at least expect a decent laugh out the bloody thing.
