[challenge entry] It started as an amusing nose, and, well...

'The original models are so boring, but I used my trusty dremel to spice it up a bit!'

Wahey! My first post! I couldn't be bothered to check through ALL the previous posts, so if this is a tired joke, I'm deeply sorry!

# Don't be stupid

(, Sun 16 Feb 2003, 1:52, archived)

# Hey you never know

# Ah yes
I just know that if my mate Nigel (whom nobody here knows, I guess) ever owns a dog then this will become reality.

Anyway, I'm off to bed.

Night folks.

# Dagnabbit!
And there I was thinking my new case was looking sooo good now...
Gonna have to start again after going to the local dogs home tomorrow...

# that is
a tasty case

was it you who said they were doing an MCP recently?
(, Sun 16 Feb 2003, 1:56, archived)
# Thank you...
was bloody hard work...
and yes, it was me...
Being away for the exam (and being stuck in a cybercafe that smelt of cheese) caused me to miss the deadline for furtive icons...
still haven't got round to getting one of the new batch either...arse

# how did you get on?
is it a full MCSE you're doing? i'm just trying to prep myself for 2Kserver MCP at the moment :-/
(, Sun 16 Feb 2003, 2:00, archived)
# Yup, got it
I'm now GigerPunk, Bsc(hons), Mcp (w2k pro & server)
I was just doing mcp instead of a work colleague, who'd already done and passed those bits and had been booked on them anyway as part of mcsa, but by sounds of things, I might end up on mcsa anyway now....
arg...more time away, stuck in hotel in london, more exam stress, more cheese smelling cybercafes...

Oh, and if you're doing it, get the transcender tests, they're harder than the real thing(partly due to just been worded badly mind...) and thus, if you can do those, you'll sail through...
Don't do braindumps tho...they're a bad thing...
(, Sun 16 Feb 2003, 2:06, archived)
# well done
they are a bit of a bitch, but feels good when you know you've got it. that 10 seconds waiting for the result to pop up on screen is hell!

yep, got 'em already :) really handy, and actually less badly worded than a lot of the other ones i've seen...
(, Sun 16 Feb 2003, 2:09, archived)
# ouch...
there are worse ones?
and I thought the transcender ones were bad...caused many an argument with my lapotp when we knew we'd got the right answer...
and yeah, that waiting time is a killer...bet they put that there on purpose...
