Prodge says his has been solid and running for a good long time.I can't seem to find much LaCie stuff on the ol'e Amazon, which is my preferred electronic supplier on the basis that I trust their packaging/shipping.
This is really much more of a difficult choice than it should be.

All the drives in that sequence/build format get my vote.and they use Maxtor or Hitachi innards.
