oh dear,
I should have specified that it was the British army back around 1776 - Redcoats being the phrase used to describe them, given their red uniform coats; it's an american thing.

big mistake
i'm all in favour of sending over a few chaps to take it back again, we could do a deal with spain and argentina, they give us a hand and we give them back the falklands and gibralta. it's a win win deal.

actually we use the term 'redcoats' in scotland too
cos we also had a few scraps with the english
