# hallo

# Ah.
I gave my first two undergraduate lectures on Monday. Half the students were older than me.
Practical Magnetochemistry, no less.
Alas, I have no drink apart from a very old half-bottle of Jaegermeister.

# I believe I've only drunk jaegermeister once
and I don't remember it because I'd drunk a lot before that. This is Chivas Regal, the only blend I'll normally consider drinking, and dirt cheap over here it is, too.

My students think they're smarter than me, which they're not but they are certainly better educated. And some of them are smarter, and they're not all that much younger, either. On the other hand I earn loads more than them and already have my PhD and they don't even have their Diplomas. Heh.

# It amuses me a bit that I've got a year of post-doc time already
and they've not even done their batchelor's...
Apparently, I'm the youngest post-doc in the uni. Not because I'm bright, but because their uni system means they get a Ph.D at 30.

# I'm about a year older than the final year PhD students
with 2 years postdoc experience. It's quite entertaining, I agree.
