# hahaha

and I rather disagree, I think (aside from Keanu's usual standard of acting) the first film was something special and great and a good stand-alone film.

And then the last two were "hey, let's make some more money". And thus shit.

# am I allowed to say
that the Freeway sequence in the 2nd one was pretty damn good?
(, Thu 29 May 2008, 14:15, archived)
# yes
plus the music for it was fucking awesome :D
(, Thu 29 May 2008, 14:18, archived)
# ^ seconded
I quite like the fight between neo and endless versions of Smith in reloaded as well.. The 2nd one was ultimately shite but had some good bits.

Whereas the 3rd one was just utter crap.

# The 3rd one was pants-on-head retarded, I agree.

(, Thu 29 May 2008, 14:37, archived)
# yes
and some of the action in the third is good too... but both films lack the tension and coolness of the first.

# I loved the first film, I have seen it far too many times
the last two were dreadful, I was extremely disappointed.

So my point was, that being near the end of the first film, it was the last scene in the trilogy that was any good.

(although having watched the trilogy again recently, I don't completely hate the other two.)

# It was on Sky
the other night ( Monday I think )

I've not seen it since release and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But I'm a cybergeek and love anything Gibsonesque. I even liked the second two. There, I've said it.

(, Thu 29 May 2008, 14:31, archived)
# i did too
I was slightly surprised, as I saw the second one at the cinema and thought, "fuck the third, that was shite".

But then a couple of months ago, I saw the trilogy for cheap, so decided to watch them all one day and rather enjoyed myself.

For the purposes of my above joke, I have ignored these facts.

# Loved the first,
and was so disillusioned after the second, that I've only managed to watch about 10 mins of the third (why the hell was he wearing a blindfold?)
