one of my earliest memories is being in the garden with my dad, him pointing up at the sky and telling me there were men up there in a space rocket trying to get home

To be fair most things scared me as a child
Honey i shrank the Kids for example.. I litraly grieved for the ant that dies in it... My sister also cried at Wil Cwac Cwac..the Welsh cartoon, because of the Daddy Duck hitting the kid duck or somthing
