[challenge entry] I'm sorry, Guy-Manuel and Thomas.

To be honest, I've never loved a movie as much as I love Electroma. And I mean every minute of it. I recommend it only if you have patiece.

but possibly.

The only connection is robots. Really. The rest is all just desert.

there are only two elements to this film. Robots, walking and deserts.

# What do you mean?
Are you like me, and hate when robots are portrayed like evil malfunctioning machines?
(, Sat 31 May 2008, 0:31, archived)
# Yeah.
Robots can be our friends.

I love Daneel and Giskard.

I need to read more of the Elijah Bailey series, but I found Robots and Empire in my dad's massive sci-fi collection, and found it fantastic.

# I haven't watched Interstella 5555
So I can't really say. Have you watched slow movies with little dialogue? Like "2001"? (I can only think about that one now...)
(, Sat 31 May 2008, 0:31, archived)
# I really need to see that.

# 5555
is pretty much the perfect film for a house party.

next to the alice in wonderland + wizard of oz cuts to pink floyd.

# I loved electroma as well.
I was stunned by how much I enjoyed it at the end of it all, even though nothing had happened, although the only versions I could find had a really rather irritating timecode at the top throughout, which ruined it for me.

# I would like to watch it again though.
I watched it late at night in my bedroom in the dark all alone, and I felt so very very far removed from everything alive after I watched it... it's a feeling I'd love to have again.
(, Sat 31 May 2008, 0:30, archived)
# I'll definitely watch it again
I'll buy the dvd on amazon. It wasn't released in spain. Wich is unfair :(
